CRAFT, WORK, TERRITORY. THE STORY OF A FAMILY
In the second half of the 19th century, two brothers from Fusignano decided to dedicate themselves to printing and publishing. Giovanni and Edoardo used a printing press and movable type to produce small posters and various informational materials for the municipality and the local theater.
In the early 20th century, the business was run by Giovanni’s son, Costantino, known as Tino.
Commercial products evolved, with an increase in colors and illustrations. The business was located in the town center, and the market remained primarily local.
The Postwar Period Marks a Turning Point in the Economy
The agri-food and manufacturing sectors increasingly required more complex printed communication materials. Costantino’s son, Giovanni, invested in a new facility and new machinery to meet the demands of the Economic Boom.
From the 1970s, Giovanni was joined by his sons Everardo and Bruno, who assisted in both production and the planning of continuous new investments. In addition to the “labels” line, the publishing sector was strengthened. Furthermore, keeping pace with the evolution of computing in the 1980s, a modern prepress department was established.
